Miss Youngberg

My name is Patricia Youngberg and I am the Director of Special Services as well as the Resource teacher for Cleora. I grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan but have lived in Oklahoma the last 38 years.   I live fairly near the school and am excited about teaching closer to home.   I’ve spent the last 30 years or so commuting back and forth from Tulsa,  and it will be a pleasant change to have less travel time in my daily routine.  Maybe I can squeeze in some practice time on the fairways. J  I also enjoy gardening, reading and learning how to quilt.  When I’m not enjoying my hobbies, I love spending time with my family, either in person or on Facebook. I’m from a large family and have lots of nieces and nephews.

I  completed my undergraduate training at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa and completed my Master’s degree in Special Education at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah.  I spent most of my 31 years in the teaching profession at the Union Public School District in Tulsa, OK, but I also taught 2 years at a private school (Riverfield Country Day School) in Tulsa.  I am happiest when I can help my students become the best they can be.
