Message to Our Families

Dear Cardinal Family,

As you know, members of the Cleora family have worked diligently over the past two school years. That hard work and collaboration proved to be vital to our success. We are grateful to the many parents, teachers, community members, support staff, and medical experts who provided valuable input and ideas to help shape the plan, as well as the ongoing support throughout the year.

Our decisions and actions throughout the past school years were guided by the following principle: protect the health and safety of our staff and students, while offering the best educational services possible. Because of our staff’s dedication and your support, we were able to exceed all expectations for what our school year might look like. We plan to continue and build on this success as we begin to prepare for the 2023-2024 school year. All of our board adopted safety protocols were based on the assistance and feedback from our faculty, staff, parents, community, health field workers, and advisory committees through meetings and public comment. These plans and protocols were developed out of care and concern for the safety, health and well-being of students, staff and the community. School begins August 10, 2022, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back and work toward another safe and successful school year!

The impact that COVID-19 may or may not have in the future is still unknown, so we continue to ask for your patience, grace, and flexibility as we begin this next school year. We will do everything possible to make the 2022-23 school year a safe, successful and positive experience for the Cardinal Family, much like we did the past two years. We understand any ongoing guidelines will continue to be an adjustment for everyone involved, and we are here to answer your questions and to help with your concerns.
