Get ready—March 2nd - March 6th is Dr. Seuss Read Across America Week!
Our Student Council has planned five fun and engaging activities to help our students
celebrate reading and build excitement around literacy. Each day will feature a special theme to
keep the energy going all week long.
Each morning, our STUCO President will kick off the day with a Dr. Seuss trivia question. The
first class with the correct answer will win a prize! Each classroom will designate one student to
stand in the hallway outside your room holding a provided flag. When your class believes they
have the correct answer, the student will raise the flag. STUCO officers will be stationed in each
hallway to help monitor and identify the first classroom to respond. The winning class will
receive popcorn or pop as their reward!
In addition, our STUCO members will be reading to our Pre-K through 1st grade students
throughout the week.
