Last week our 7th and 8th Grade classes along with the Kindergarten and 1st grade classes came together to do a Google Slide Project over a Children's Book.
The 7th and 8th grade classes had just completed learning about the plot diagram, characterization, conflict, theme, and writing short summaries of short stories. They were paired up with the Kindergarten and First grade students and each group chose a children’s book for their project. Once they had chosen a book the older students read it to the younger students and then began teaching them everything that they had just learned. They then created a google slide project with their reading buddy and presented it for the classes! They all did a great job and had a lot of fun doing it!
