Congratulations to Aryan Smith, one of our very own 8th graders!! She was selected as a winner in the OKCTE Young Writers Contest. The YWC Anthology is created from the annual Oklahoma Young Writers Contest, sponsored by the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of English, the state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English. The winners range from grades 6-12 and submit works in the following categories: short story, personal narrative, comic, poetry, descriptive paragraph, and expository essay.
Aryan's personal narrative work was submitted among over 500 submissions and chosen as one of the winners to be published in the 2022 Young Writers Anthology which is currently available on the OKCTE website and Amazon! Go check it out!!
