Cardinal Parents, don't forget the "Back-to-School Outreach" provided by Cleora Community Church this Saturday, August 5th, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. FREE school supplies for the first 60 Cleora Students and FREE haircuts during the 2-hour window. Parents will be treated to FREE coffee from the church coffee bar too!
Our Back-To-School Open House Night is Tuesday, August 8th from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. Make plans to drop by to meet the teachers & staff, drop off school supplies, and pick up any important information. We hope to see everyone there!

It is now official, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office has hired & assigned a School Resource Officer for Cleora School. We will have a full-time SRO when we return to school in August! I would like to thank Sheriff Beck & the County Commissioners for partnering with us & making this happen.

Here are a few end of the year announcements:
* May 5 - 11 is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. We have the best in the state! When you see them please tell them "THANK YOU!"
* May 10 is our Cookout & Talent Show. The talent show begins at 1:00 pm. Starting at 11:00 Mr. Guthrie will be grilling hamburgers & hot dogs for staff, students, & families!
* May 11 is Graduation for Kdg & 8th grade and awards assembly beginning at 8:30 am. This is also our LAST DAY of school. Students are allowed to leave with family at the conclusion.

Congratulations to our 6th & 7th grade Academic Team for placing 4th in the state today at the OJABA Academic Tournament!! Way to go Cardinals!
Congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade Track & Field Teams! Our girls and boys both finished today as the North Regional Runner Up and are headed to the state track meet next Saturday!!

Hello Cardinal family! The Cleora Community Church next door will be opening their coffee shop tomorrow morning and serving FREE coffee drinks, tea, & hot chocolate to anyone who stops by. Be sure to take advantage of their hospitality & graciousness. They're open from 7:00-8:30 am.
